The SCARIEST part about the Islam vs VOlk is this: Islam had a really really bad weight cut.. HE had no time to Rehydrate meaning he was fighting Volk while completely DEHYDRATED. His Doctors did not want him to fight at all and he did.. and still DOMINATED.. INSANE. Imagine if he was 100%. When you're dehydrated, you're like 20%.

Joe Rogan is so wrong here. It was closer to 4-1 Islam then it was Volk winning. Islam won the competition and Volk won the fight. The judges actually got it right for once. Don't argue the decision, if anything argue the 10 point must system and the scoring criteria but under the current scoring criteria and 10 point must system, Islam clearly won. It's the exact same system that Volk benefited from against Max in their 2nd fight. Max won the fight and I thought the competition as well but an argument could be made that Volk won rounds 3,4,5 against Max but the scoring system previously saved Volk so don't complain now bc you weren't complaining then
Anyone who has a foundational idea of how UFC fights are scored know that Volk won that fight

I was pulling for Volk, but Islam just about won the fight. It's the "Jones/Gustafsson bias" making people think Volk was robbed. When people expect a fighter to dominate and they don't, people overcompensate and all of a sudden, the opponent was "robbed". I still think Volkanovski did enough to retain his status as P4P #1 though and a rematch is definitely needed.
