In their third encounter, Velasquez and Dos Santos put on a thrilling fight that almost went the distance. Velasquez dominated the majority of the bout, implementing a successful game plan that wore down Dos Santos until he secured a late finish in the fifth round.

Throughout the fight, Velasquez neutralized Dos Santos’ boxing and constantly pushed him up against the fence, landing knee strikes and dirty boxing to wear down his opponent. Despite dos Santos’ efforts, Velasquez’s effective strategy allowed him to secure a TKO victory at 3:09 of the fifth round, successfully defending his title for the second time.

I love how every time junior threw a punch Joe would go oh he caught him with a left or oh he caught him with a uppercut two great heavyweights Cain was a beast no one else at that time could beat junior but Cain and he got knocked out the first fight but he plum destroyed junior in the second and third fight
