Amanda Nunes went back to the octagon in dominant style against Irene Aldana at UFC 289. During the fight, Nunes was cornered by 2 guys and 2 females, with lots of questioning the identity of the 2nd female. It was later exposed that the female was Maggie Grindatti, a 31-year-old American grappler and BJJ black belt with various titles to her name. Nunes revealed her retirement from MMA following the fight, and while Julianna Pena appears to be a most likely competitor for the uninhabited females’s bantamweight champion, Nunes declared that Irene Aldana might beat Pena in a prospective title fight.
