UFC 285 will feature a lightweight matchup between Dan Hooker and Jalin Turner. Hooker (22-12 MMA, 12-8 UFC) and Turner (13-5 MMA, 6-2 UFC) first expressed interest in a fight against one another and now it’s official. The event will take place on March 4th at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Hooker, 32, is looking to bounce back from two consecutive losses, most recently to Claudio Puelles at UFC 281 in November. Turner, 27, is riding a five-fight winning streak, most recently defeating Hooker’s City Kickboxing teammate Brad Riddell at UFC 276 in July. Other victories on the streak include Jamie Mullarkey and Uros Medic. The card also features a heavyweight title fight between Jon Jones and Ciryl Gane, a women’s flyweight title fight between Valentina Shevchenko and Alexa Grasso, and other fights such as Viviane Araujo vs. Amanda Ribas, Bo Nickal vs. Jamie Pickett, and Geoff Neal vs. Shavkat Rakhmonov. With this card, UFC 285 promises to be an exciting event.
