Conor Mcgregor vs Michael Chandler | Square Off as Coaches on TUF 31 |

Here is what we know so far: Michael Chandler and Conor Mcgregor will square off as coaches on the next season of The Ultimate Fighter this summer and then face off in the octagon before the year is over.

It is too early for official predictions and fight breakdowns, however there are alot of questions surrounding this blockbuster matchup. The first question being, when will Conor Mcgregor re-enter the USADA testing pool? Because until that happens, the fight can not be sooner than Six months away. My next important question being, how hard has Conor been training and how much time has he spent in the gym working on his skills? We know Chandler has been part of the biggest fights in the UFC over the past couple of years, so ring rust will not be a factor on his behalf. And the final question I have to raise is how much of a factor will his broken leg be in his preparation and ability to throw certain techniques? Will the actual leg itself be healthy and strong enough to withstand the rigors of fight preparation?

This is a very intriguing match-up stylistically. I believe with a big win over Michael Chandler, Conor Mcgregor’s stock goes through the roof. When Conor is trending, this adds alot of excitement to the fight world in general. How ever, Michael Chandler is a powerhouse with one speed, which is fast. His objective is to smash his opponent every time.

I would have liked to see the Tony Ferguson fight for Mcgregor as a tune up before a big time match up like Chandler. All respect to Conor, though, who has never been one to shy away from a challenge.

All dates are TBA regarding the TUF season and the fight. We will be following this story line closely as it will no doubt be the most promoted event of the year.
