This fight is almost guaranteed to end in knockout as Rozicki boasts a near flawless knockout percentage with all but 1 of his 17 wins come by knockout. His only loss was a razor close decision to the Bridger-Weight World Champion Oscar Rivas. Rozicki’s opponent Gorlov is a very tough slugger from Latvia. Arturs, an ex Glory Kickboxer holds a strong record of 10-2 with 8 knockouts. I expect both men to bring their Top Game as World Title Implications could be on the line.
The Co-main Event features the WBC Youth Light Weight Champion, (10-1-2) Pedro Bernal as he takes on the tough as nails, local fan favorite, (4-1-3) Paul “Iron” Ispas in a scheduled 10 rounder. Pedro Bernal is among the elite young talent coming from Mexico right now. He proved that in his last outing against Top Australian prospect George Payne. Ispas is an experienced amateur, crafty and slick southpaw who throws fast combinations. Ispas will bring the fight to the Young Pedro Bernal. I have a feeling this could be be the Fight of The Night.
The explosive puncher and Former Canadian Amateur National Middle Weight Champion, (2-0) Triston Brookes of Mississauga, Ontario will be looking to extend his knockout streak to a perfect 3-0 against (1-0) Emilio Leon Silva from Mexico in a 4 round bout.
Orangeville Native and former Canadian Amateur Welter Weight Champion and top young Prospect, (4-1) Jake Daoust takes on (3-2-0) Beverly Garcia Gonzalez in another Canada-Mexico showdown in the Welter Weight division.
Fans will be treated to another top Canadian fighter in (4-0) John-Michael Bianco of Mississauga who is on a meteoric rise through the Canadian Middle Weight Division. The former Canadian Amateur Middle Weight Champion is on the hunt for another win to keep his undefeated record intact against veteran (11-11-3) Joaquin Murrieta Lucio. Bianco will be looking to get the job done inside of the scheduled 8 rounds.
Local Guelph, Ontario Standout (5-1) Carolyn Redman is taking on (2-2) Silvia Silva Barrazza in an 8 round battle.
Former Olympian (1-0) Reda Benbaziz fighting out of Algeria will make his second walk to the ring. He looks to keep his undefeated record against the tough as nails slugger from Hamilton (2-8) Dylan “Destruction” Rushton. This is not an easy second fight for Reda Benbaziz even if he did fight in the Olympics.
