Robert Guerrero III scores first KO, moves to 2-0 as a pro

Undefeated incredibly featherweight, Robert Guerrero III, child of previous multi-division world champ, Robert “The Ghost” Guerrero, mesmerized the crowd at the Auditorio Municipal de Tijuana this past Friday with a spectacular triumph in his 2nd expert fight.

Guerrero III (2-0, 1 KO) took on against Cristian Velazquez of Tijuana, MX, in a set up 4-round bout. The fight, promoted by Bxstrs Promotions, aired live on ESPN Deportes / “ESPN Knockout”.

Guerrero III, age 17, sealed the win with a first-round knockout, providing an effective left hook-straight right combination to the body of Velazquez that sent him to the canvas. The referee without delay stopped the bout, strengthening Guerrero III’s supremacy in the ring.

“Scoring my very first knockout of my profession feels extraordinary,” stated Guerrero who by the label “El Pistolero”. “I put in a great deal of effort and devotion into my training, and this knockout triumph is a minute I’ll always remember.”

Looking ahead, Guerrero III aspires to keep his momentum and remain active in the boxing world throughout the remainder of the year.
