This week, ONE Championship renowned Muay Thai Day with the first-ever Amazing Muay Thai Festival in Hua Hin, Thailand. The occasion included the world’s biggest “Wai Kru” event, a WBC World Championship fight, Muay Thai workshops, and more. CEO and Chairman Chatri Sityodtong provided the Thai federal government with a glass frame which contained a set of 4-ounce gloves and a golden plate that stated “ONE”. Thai warrior Sinsamut Klinmee revealed his appreciation to Chatri for thinking in him and permitting him to complete in the openweight Muay Thai World Grand Prix. Sinsamut is set to rematch Regian Eersel for the light-weight belt on March 17th. The Muay Thai Day celebrations united professional athletes, fans, and volunteers to commemorate the martial art and its culture.
