Jose “Chon” Zepeda emerged triumphant over India’s Neeraj “Gangster” Goyat at the Domo Alcalde in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, on Saturday. The WBC Silver very light-weight champ controlled his challenger over 10 rounds, eventually winning by consentaneous choice. Scores of 100-90 were provided by all judges and the triumph represented another plume in the cap of Zepeda’s profession. In other battles on the night, Rafael “El Divino” Espinoza and Aaron “Superman” Silva likewise emerged triumphant.
